Refund Policy

Let’s face it. Sometimes we buy something, and get buyer’s remorse before the product arrives. It happens to everyone. At Skyline Firearms Distribution, we are here to help. Even when it means refunding some cash, our only goal is to keep you happy! Our refund policy is as follows:

Within 24 hours:
We place every order within 24 hours of receiving payment. Contact us via email at SkylineFirearmsDist@gmail.com within 24 hours (be sure to include your contact phone number) requesting a refund, or cancellation of an order, and we will be happy to oblige. No questions asked!

Before Order Ships:
A little trickier to pinpoint depending on the manufacturer or distributor the order is placed through. However, if you contact us outside of the initial 24 hour period to cancel an order, we will make every effort to cancel the order with the manufacturer or distributor before it ships.
***If the order hasn’t shipped, we will cancel it and refund your purchase. No questions asked!
***If the order has already shipped, then see below.

After Order Ships:
If your order has already shipped, and a refund or cancellation request is received, the following policy with take effect:
*If the product ordered is common, and likely to sell within 30 days, Skyline Firearms Distribution has the option to assume ownership of the shipment, and issue a full refund, minus any shipping costs. This is not guaranteed.
*If the product is uncommon, or determined unlikely to sell in a reasonable time-frame, or if Skyline Firearms Distribution decides not to assume ownership of the shipment, then a partial refund(***) will be issued within 30 days of the request to refund/cancel the order, by means of a Certified Cashier’s Check.
***Partial Refund is defined as the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee, which covers the vendor restocking fees and return shipping charges.

Custom/Open Products

There is a strict NO REFUND policy on ANY FIREARMS once the transfer is completed, or on any product that is modified in ANY way from its factory configuration prior to Skyline Firearms Distribution receiving a refund/cancellation request. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
*Cerakote work, scope mounting, engraving, modifications, open & damaged factory packaging, gunsmith work, or anything not listed that modifies a product in ANY way from it’s factory configuration.

Damaged Product

All items that are shipped to Skyline Firearms Distribution are inspected as thoroughly as possible for any signs of shipping damages or product defects. We have found everything from a rifle round missing a primer, to a gun case with a defective clasp. If there is any issue with an item that was shipped, we will first notify you, our client. From there, we will contact the manufacturer or distributor the item was received from and facilitate a replacement as soon as possible. We will continue to keep you informed throughout the process, until the replacement product is in your possession.
***If an item is found to be damaged or defective within 14 days of you taking ownership, please contact us directly. We will contact the manufacturer or distributor to see what steps should be taken next, and go from there.
***If an item is found to be damaged or defective outside of the 14 day period stated above, please contact the manufacturer of the product directly for any warranty needs.

Returns

Skyline Firearms Distribution will honor any Partner Manufacturer’s return policy that the Partner Manufacturer has in place. Partner Manufacturer return policies will be listed on our website, via a link to the Partner Manufacturer’s direct web page stating their policies. If there is not a link to a Partner Manufacturer’s return policy, in it’s place you will find “MANUFACTURER DOES NOT OFFER A RETURN POLICY”.

ALL FIREARMS SALES ARE FINAL. There will be no returns on any firearm after a transfer is completed, for any reason. If a situation arises where payment is made and a transfer is finalized, and the purchaser decides against taking possession of the firearm, he or she may choose one of the following:
A) The firearm may be placed on consignment through Skyline Firearms Distribution for resale through any of the consignment options available, and treated as such.
B) The firearm may be privately sold and transferred to another party. The receiving party would be responsible for the $9.50 Transfer Fee and the $10.50 CBI Background Check Fee.
C) Should the purchaser leave the premises of Skyline Firearms Distribution for any reason, and leave behind the firearm, that firearm would be immediately transferred back into the inventory of Skyline Firearms Distribution. Should the purchaser return to take possession of the firearm outside of a 24 hour period from when the original purchase background check was completed, the purchaser would be responsible for an additional $9.50 Transfer Fee and the $10.50 CBI Background Check Fee. Skyline Firearms Distribution would not charge an additional Transfer Fee or CBI Background Check Fee if the original purchaser returns within 24 hours to take possession of the firearm, unless the purchaser is opting for Section B as listed above.
